Users of the system include hourly staff, managers, instructors, studio owners, and others who need password-protected access to the zingfit studio booking and management system. The extent of access permitted by each User is defined by the Role associated with the user.
Navigate to Users by Admin > People > Users
Add or Edit User
From here, you can create a new User by clicking the +Add User or edit an existing user by clicking the pencil icon left of the username.
Each user will need a Role. There are four pre-defined Roles but Roles can be edited and added. If the User is also an Instructor, you can tie them to their Instructor Profile.
Fill in the required fields including Firstname, Lastname, Username, and password. The system does not support email addresses as usernames so we recommend using a short name like "JasonW."
The Allow Access to limits which studios this user can access in the Booker and Scheduler. You can select one or multiple studios. Finally, if they are a paid employee, you can enter hourly pay and commission rates. If the user is an Instructor, the rates are set in Instructor Payroll.
TIPS:
Whenever creating Users for the Admin or Manager roles please consider filling out all or most of the contact information on the User form. This will assist the zingfit Support team in verifying the user if they forget their password.
If you find that an instructor User can log in but can not view any classes please edit the User and verify that Tie to Instructor is correctly set.
