zingFit can provide a customer contact data import into our system from reports in MBO as well as honor any existing series counts or membership that are active. We recognize customers by a unique email address. This email address is also used as studio customer User Name to log into her online profile enabling her to access attendance/purchase history, enroll in classes and purchase Series or Contracts.

After the data migration takes place, if duplicate emails exist in the zingFit system these customers will not be able to log in to their customer profile from the studio website. To solve this problem we suggest merging these customer profiles prior to migrating Customer Data from MINDBODY to zingFit. MindBody will prioritize the customer with the most recent visit history as client 1 and, once merged, this will become the primary profile. Once you have addressed your duplicate customers zingFit will then perform the data migration of your customer contact information.

If customers with duplicates emails are not resolved before migration, duplicate customers will not be able to log into their zingFit system. Often duplicates are caused by family accounts where all family members are given one parent’s address. If they have to manually change an address where they do not want to merge profiles, they can change one address temporarily like this: "myname@mydomain.com" to "myname_dupe@mydomain.com
