Customer journey emails are automated to communicate with studio customers who follow predicted behavior paths based on histories of purchase and attendance. Studios can think of each email as a campaign and in this way, managers can configure multiple emails to target multiple customer behaviors.

Customer Journey - Attendance

  1. Name - set the name of the automated marketing campaign

  2. Is Active - set to Yes to enable email delivery

  3. Days Since Attended - if targeting customers who have not attended a class in thirty days, set to "30"

  4. Exclude if Has Purchase a Series - setting this option to No will target new customers or customers who have only been given a promo/free class. Not customers who have purchased a series.

  5. Subject - this text will appear in the email subject

  6. Message - this text will appear in the email body. Note that there are Text Placeholders to merge data into the email body text.

  7. Save changes or Save & Stay and then Preview.

Customer Journey - Series

  1. Name - set the name of the automated marketing campaign

  2. Is Active - set to Yes to enable email delivery

  3. Series - the campaign will be based on the purchase/expiration of the Series selected here. Notice that selecting multiple Series is possible - if multiple Series are selected, any of the selected Series can trigger the automated email.

  4. Mode - the email can be triggered either before or after a Series expires and the drop-down menu below determines the number of days before or after. If the studio wants to target a number of days after purchase, this can be done by working backward... a campaign on a 30-day expiration package that should be delivered 3 days after purchase would be set to Days to Expire, and the number of days set to 27.

  5. Exclude if Purchases another Series - if the studio wishes to send the email only to those who have not purchased another Series (for example if the Series selected in step 3 is an into Series) the setting here should be set to "Yes".

  6. Subject - this text will appear in the email subject

  7. Message - this text will appear in the email body. Note that there are Text Placeholders to merge data into the email body text.

  8. Save changes or Save & Stay and then Preview.
