The system emails in zingfit are customizable so that you can edit the text of the message, but they also allow for custom code to be implemented so that you can style and brand your emails.

We recommend creating your email template in an email provider software, such as MailChimp or Constant Contact, which has tools to easily generate branded and professional-looking emails. That way, we can take the HTML from these templates and implement them into your zingfit emails as a wrapper. An e-mail wrapper will apply to all emails sent from your zingfit system.

**Implementing an e-mail wrapper to your zingfit emails is a Client Services request. To submit your request please click here.

Please note this is a billable request.

MailChimp

Here's a link to a MailChimp article to getting started on designing your emails: Design an Email Campaign in Mailchimp

Once you have created the email and saved it as a template in MailChimp, you can extract the source HTML code to be implemented into your zingfit system emails. Follow the article link below to learn more about downloading the code from your MailChimp email: Export Template

***NOTE: If you use MailChimp to generate your branded header/footer be sure to remove all MailChimp variables (ex. [MC PREVIEW TEXT]) from the HTML as they will not populate properly in zingfit.

Adding the code in zingfit

Once you have extracted the code, within zingfit navigate to "Admin" > "Configuration" > "System Emails", then edit the email of your choice. Click on the "Source" icon in the editor and paste in the code extracted from MailChimp. You can also preview what the email looks like by clicking the "Preview" button at the bottom of the editor.

Adding a template in zingfit

If you want to add a Header and Footer that is the same across all zingfit system emails, you can send the extracted HTML code through a web development request.

Voila! You now have a branded and professional-looking email template to send to your customers! Please ensure you are testing your newly styled emails before adding them to the live emails to ensure they are appearing as expected. We suggest adding the style to your Stage environment emails and sending tests through there.

**Important: If you are using this method to customize your emails, zingfit is not responsible for styling issues that may arise. Please reach out to MailChimp for help with the custom code for these items.
