What is the Waitlist Spot Open- System E-mail?

The Waitlist Spot Open System E-mail will automatically send when a customer late cancels a reservation from the public website.

This E-mail will act as a 'first come, first serve' opportunity for customers on the waitlist to take the newly opened spot. Whichever customer selects 'Book now' in the system email will automatically be enrolled into the class and removed from the waitlist.

Setting up the Waitlist Spot Open E-mail

  1. Navigate to Admin >Configuration > System Emails

  2. Select '+ Add Email'

  3. Select 'Waitlist Spot Open'

  4. Select 'Next'

  5. This will bring you to the edit screen for the E-mail so you can personalize the message.

Requirements for System E-mail

If you choose to activate this system email, please contact the zingfit support team by emailing support@zingfit.com to update the System Settings:

- Auto-enroll From waitlist = True

- Alert On Spot Open = True

- Re-Open Full Class = True

- Re-Open Full Class on Late Cancel = True

Things to Note when using this System E-mail

  • The E-mail will not trigger if a customer cancels outside the late cancel window. This E-mail will only trigger upon a late cancel

  • If a customer is canceled via the Booker, the E-mail will not send. In this case, the zingfit User will need to manually bump a customer from the waitlist into the class.
