Email receipts are generated automatically with every Register transaction. We've added the ability to disable email receipts by un-checking the "Email Receipt" box.

As it can be confusing for customers to receive email receipts after a "comp" transaction, the Email Receipt checkbox will be deselected when "comp" is the selected transaction type.
