As a means of promoting customer engagement and of fostering viral marketing, zingFit makes it possible for studio customers to share class enrollment and performance metrics via social networks (currently Facebook and Twitter).

The Social View

Social postings contain a mixture of the customer and studio-controlled content.

When the social network user clicks on the studio website link, the user is taken to a system-generated landing page containing class content (for class enrollment posts) or a personal performance metrics summary (for performance metrics posts) for the studio customer. Below is an example of the class content landing page layout to be displayed within the studio design.

NOTE: Remote Integration customers will want to make sure to complete instructor profile information (images and bio text) for optimized display on this page.

The Customer View

A social media post can be generated from customer account pages in the zingFit system. For class enrollment, studio customers are taken to the My Classes page directly after successful online enrollment. Personal performance sharing links are available from the zingFit My Performance link.

System Configuration

To configure the zingFit system for social sharing, studios will need to register their studio with Facebook Apps (Twitter sharing will not be enabled until the Facebook App ID is entered into the studio zingFit system settings). Instructions for setting up the Facebook app can be found here.
