Instructor payroll settings are accessed via Admin > People > Instructor Profiles and clicking on the dollar sign ( $ ) icon in the four-part button to the left of each instructor name.
Studios can choose one of the following Payroll Modes:
Flat Rate which includes the optional Per Head rate. In the image below, the instructor is paid $40 plus an additional per-head rate of $2 for each customer where the enrollment exceeds the threshold of 10. For a class enrollment of 20 customers, the instructor would receive a total of $60 --> $40 Flat Rate + $20 per head.
Revenue Share gives you the option to pay with a percentage of the revenue.
Tiered allows a flat rate that scales according to class enrollment. In Tiered mode, enter a flat rate for each level of enrollment.
As many studios offer classes that have different durations and may have separate pricing, zingfit offers Class Rates at different instructor pay rates for different classes. In the example below, Richard may receive a $40 Flat Rate for a cycling class but he gets compensated an $80 Flat Rate for instructing a Pilates session. Class Rates override Flat Rate and Tiered Rate settings for the selected Class Type.
Payroll Manager Report
Instructor Payroll can be viewed by studio administrators at Admin > People > Payroll. Payroll can be filtered by the instructor or by class. Additionally, you can filter out any Payments By comps, gift cards, etc, and any No Shows.
Payroll Instructor Report
An instructor can view her payroll via the Booker by clicking on the gear icon to the right of her name and choosing Payroll from the drop-down menu.
Best Practices
As a rule, studios should NOT GIVE INSTRUCTORS ACCESS TO ADMIN > PEOPLE >PAYROLL. This would permit the instructor to see payroll for all employees.
