How do you discount certain months of a contract?

Let's say that you want to set up a discount for membership plans where the first month is the regular price, the second month is 25% off and then the third month goes back to the regular price. It's easy to set up a membership in that way. There are two ways to do it:

If you would like everyone to have the discount that purchases the Contract, go to Admin > Scheduling/Retail > Series/Contract and edit the existing contract in question, or click to set up a New Contract.

In the Billing Unit Cycle Pricing (this is on the second page when creating a New Contract). Then change the second month to be 25% less in price, but keep all other months at the normal price.

If you only want to apply this to one customer, use the Booker to search for the customer > click on the Series tab in the Customer Profile.

Find the series you wish to update and click the pencil icon to edit the contract in question. Scroll down, and change the month's pricing that you'd like to give that customer a discount on.
