zingFit now supports Physical Gift Cards that can be sold in studio. To order Gift Cards:

  1. Order from Plastic Printers as they know the zingFit format

  2. The code is 6 random alphanumeric characters and should be printed on the card as the "Code" - Plastic Printers will generate these codes. The pin is 3 random numbers and should be printed on the card as the "PIN." The barcode should contain all 9 characters in sequence. For example: code: A5T9UY PIN: 109 stripe: A5T9UY109

To active Gift Cards in the zingFit system:

  1. Make Gift Cards active. Admin > Scheduling/Retail > Gift Cards, click Edit Gift Card Config, and next to Gift Cards Active, select "Yes and click Save Changes

  2. Other options on this screen are for Online Gift Cards - they are activated as well by completing this step, but effectively, Online Gift Cards cannot be purchased online unless a link is explicitly provided from the studio website.

To sell Gift Cards in-studio:

  1. From the Booker, Find Customer/Add Customer. Click on Register.

  2. At the bottom of the right-hand Register panel, click on Gift Cards/Credit, and then Physical Gift Card

  3. If scanning, Click into the Scan barcode field and scan the barcode, or manually enter the Card Code and PIN

  4. Enter a Card Value (enter 25 for a $25 Gift Card)

Tip- Sometimes a customer will present an old gift card and it might not work. It is possible this is a Mindbody gift certificate from before the migration. if so, the client can try to redeem it with a pin code of "123".
