What is the iFrame Integration

zingfit's iFrame integration is a modern integration that provides you with lots of flexibility, saves time and costs, and provides a seamless booking experience for your customers within your website.

How do I transition to the iFrame?

To get started, please fill out our iFrame Request Form.

From there, one of our Project Managers will connect with you to go over the next steps. We will provide you with our iFrame documentation to reference throughout the setup process.

Our first step will be to enable the iFrame on a Stage admin system so you can familiarize yourself with the controls and model it for production. We'll also determine a date and time to go live with the new integration.

We will send you a reminder a few days prior to the launch date to ensure that you are comfortable and to make sure you have configured and tested everything in Stage. On the date and time that the iFrame will go live, we will enable the iFrame on your Production system and make ourselves available should you have any questions or concerns throughout the setup process.

What will happen to my old zingfit pages after the transition?

Once your iframe is live, your old zingfit pages will no longer be active.

If you have been linking to your zingfit pages in your digital communications you will want to update these links. This is very easy to do—the iFrame Configurator tool allows you to copy "addressable links", URLs that you can add to your social media, email campaigns, etc. to link clients directly to the Pricing Page, the Schedule Page, etc.

Do I pay more for the iFrame?

No, converting to an iFrame integration is currently costless and you will save money in the long run, given you won't need to rely on zingfit for any future changes to your scheduling, booking, payments pages! With that being said, are potential costs to be aware of:

  • If you need to reschedule your iFrame launch date, you must provide no less than a 24 hours advanced notice. You are allowed one reschedule at no charge. If you need to reschedule your iFrame go-live date more than once, there will be a $250 charge per reschedule. We have to do this because we decline many other Professional Services projects to allocate time for your iFrame transition. So please ensure your reschedule date is set in stone to avoid any charges.

I currently use a zingfit vanity URL with my Standard Integration - what happens?

The zingfit Billing team will remove your $40 per month charge for the Vanity URL once you have transitioned to the iFrame. If you ever have a question about your monthly billing you can email our team: billing@zingift.com

I am on a Full Integration, can I transition to the iframe?

Yes, you can but you will need to host your new website yourself. If you are on a Full Integration, this means zingfit is currently hosting your entire website and you use the zingfit CMS for making website changes.

For Full Integration clients, a good time to change to the iFrame is when you are redesigning/rebuilding your digital brand and website. After you transition to the iframe, you will no longer need to pay extra costs to zingfit for services like CMS hosting, website changes, design requests, etc.

If you want to find a new CMS platform that includes a professional services team to help you with design and hosting, check out Spacecraft. If you are working with a local developer/designer, they will be able to advise you on the best CMS and hosting, etc.

What CMSs support the zingfit iFrame?

  • Squarespace

  • WordPress

  • Weebly

  • Spacecraft

  • Silverstripe all support the iframe.

Unfortunately, Wix does not support sophisticated iFrames.

zingfit clients have also built custom websites, for example, using Ruby. Take a look at HIITRebel: https://hiitrebel.com/ and iFrame embedded https://hiitrebel.com/schedules#/schedule/site/1

Why can't I see the zingfit iFrame Configurator Tool in my zingfit Admin System?

The iFrame Configurator Tool only appears after a client has requested it. And initially, we only add it to your Stage admin system so you can test the configuration and test embedding it into your website (on unpublished pages).

This allows you to maintain your existing zingfit Schedule, Buy Page, etc. on your current website (Standard Integration or Full Integration). Once you have completed your iFrame dev work in zingfit Stage, you will be able to move it over to your zingfit Production and publish it on your website. We agree upon a go-live date with you for the switch from Stage to Production.

How long will it take to transition to the iFrame?

We can turn the iFrame Configurator on for you immediately (in your Stage environment).

The length of time it takes for you to implement it will depend on the type of integration (Standard or Full Integration) you currently use. And will depend on your internal design/developer resources for implementing the iframe on your website.

Fill in our iFrame Request Form and a Professional Services team member will schedule a call with you and discuss timings with you.

Can I change the design of my iframe design later on?

Yes, you can. Once you are live with the iframe, you will be able to update your CSS, choose a new template, font, etc. from the Configurator Tool.
